Near Dorking in Surrey lies Polesden Lacey, once owned by Mrs Greville and the location for visits by Edward VII and his friends in the early 20th Century.

Hamilton Design created signage and reader guides for the National Trust in order to improve the visitor experience and illustrate the history of the house and its sometimes colourful owners. In addition, Mrs Greville’s bedroom was opened to the public, prior to its formal restoration, by the novel use of displays and interactives including a printed carpet to illustrate the room’s original layout.
